What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit. They help us recognize you across visits, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the platform to function — sign-in sessions, security tokens, and load-balancing. You cannot opt out of these without breaking the site.
Functional
Remember preferences like dark/light mode, your home venue, and dismissed banners. These improve your experience but are not strictly required.
Analytics
Help us understand which features players and venue operators use most so we can prioritize improvements. Aggregated and anonymized; never sold.
No advertising cookies.
Rack N' Action does not run third-party advertising on our website or platform, so we do not set advertising cookies.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third-party services that may set their own cookies:
- Stripe — payment processing (only on pages where payment occurs)
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security
- Twilio — SMS notification delivery (server-side; rarely sets cookies)
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out of your account or break some features. We do not honor browser-level “Do Not Track” signals at this time but plan to in a future update.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our cookie usage changes meaningfully. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
