Arthur "Babe" Cranfield

Arthur **Babe** Cranfield was an American straight-pool professional who won the World Straight Pool Championship in 1964.

Cranfield was a Junior National Champion in 1930 (age 15) and remains one of the few players to win national titles in both junior and open divisions across a 30-plus-year span. He competed at the world-tournament level into his 50s.

He was inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 1997.
