1945 – 2023
Buddy **The Rifleman** Hall was one of the most accurate ball-pocketers of the 1980s and 1990s nine-ball circuit. Born in Metropolis, Illinois, he combined a smooth straight-back stroke with an unflinching tournament temperament.
Hall won the US Open Nine-ball Championship three times (1984, 1991, 1998) and was named BCA Player of the Year in 1991 and 1998. He was a perennial threat at every major American open through both decades.
He was inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 2001 and continued teaching and exhibition play into the 2010s.
