Carmen DiPlacido

Carmen DiPlacido was a Pennsylvania-based one-pocket and straight-pool specialist active from the late 1960s through the 2000s. He was one of the most respected one-pocket tacticians of the era.

DiPlacido won the Derby City Classic One-Pocket division and was a perennial Master of the Table contender. He was inducted into the One Pocket Hall of Fame in 2006.

He was a fixture on the Eastern road-action circuit and mentored a generation of one-pocket players including several modern professionals.
