Charlie Williams is a Korean-American touring pro best known as the founder and promoter of the World Pool Series and the Dragon Promotions tournament circuit, which has run multiple US Open Ten-ball and Eight-ball editions.
As a player Williams won the WPA World Junior Nine-ball Championship in 1993 and competed on the Camel Pro Tour through the late 1990s. He has been more impactful as a promoter than as a competitor in the past two decades but remains an active senior-circuit player.
His Dragon Promotions events helped revive ten-ball as a major American discipline in the 2010s.
