Danny Diliberto

Danny **Kid Delicious** Diliberto was an American road-action and tournament player active from the 1950s through the 1990s, equally accomplished at one-pocket and straight pool.

Diliberto won the US Open Straight Pool Championship in 1969 and was a regular finalist on the BCA Open circuit. He was inducted into the One Pocket Hall of Fame and the BCA Hall of Fame.

His nickname inspired the 2007 documentary **"Kid Delicious"** (about Danny Basavich rather than Diliberto himself), though the name's lineage runs through Diliberto's earlier road-pool reputation.
