Jose Parica

Jose **Amang** Parica was the first Filipino professional to relocate full-time to the United States and is widely credited with opening the American tournament circuit to the Philippine wave that followed.
Parica won the US Open Nine-ball Championship in 1988 and was a regular finalist through the late 1980s and 1990s. He was inducted into the One Pocket Hall of Fame in 2014.
At his peak he was regarded as one of the top three nine-ball players in the world; his measured stroke and high-percentage shot selection influenced an entire generation of Asian pros.
