Jose "Toro" Mendoza

Jose **Toro** Mendoza is a Mexican-American tournament player who emerged from the Texas action-room scene in the 1980s and competed on the Camel Pro Tour and BCA Open circuits.

Mendoza was a regular semi-finalist on the Texas Express Tour and the Southwest Open. He has remained an active senior-circuit competitor and instructor based out of Houston.

His nickname references his aggressive break and unflinching push-out game.
