Mika Immonen — **The Iceman** — is Finland's most decorated cue-sports player. Known for an unflappable, deliberate game, he was a fixture on the international pro tour for more than two decades.
Immonen won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship in 2001 and was twice named BCA Player of the Year (2008, 2009). He took the US Open Nine-ball Championship in 2008 and added several Mosconi Cup appearances as Europe's anchor man during the late-2000s run of European dominance.
He has remained active as a player-ambassador for the sport, coaching juniors and consulting on rule design for the WPA. He was elected to the One Pocket Hall of Fame in the 2010s.
