Nick Varner is one of the most decorated American pool professionals of all time, with more than 100 major tournament titles spanning straight pool, nine-ball, and one-pocket.
Varner won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship in 1980 and the BCA US Open Straight Pool Championship multiple times. He was named BCA Player of the Year in 1980 and 1989.
He was inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 1992.
