Thorsten Hohmann

Thorsten Hohmann broke into international competition as a teenager and quickly demonstrated that he was one of the most complete multi-discipline players of his generation.

Hohmann won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship in 2003 (at age 24, becoming the youngest world nine-ball champion at the time) and added the WPA World Straight Pool Championship in 2006 and the IPT World Open Eight-ball in 2006. He is one of the few players to hold world titles in three different pocket-billiards disciplines.

He relocated to the United States in the mid-2000s and competes regularly on the American tournament circuit.
